We’ve streamlined our check-in and check-out processes, based on past guest needs, to make your stay a smooth one & would like to touch on a few things that will ensure you have a pleasant experience.

When using the HVAC Please:
ONLY use UP and DOWN arrows, if you TOUCH any other buttons, the heat/air may stop working.
(If you have young children, keep them out of reach).
The remotes must stay close to each unit at all times in order to work.
Stand close to unit and point directly at it, it will beep, that is how you know it is listening to you and may take a few moments to respond. ALWAYS keep ALL units on AIR or HEAT, DONT switch just one.
There are 8 HVAC remotes in the property that are an integral part of our system and are subject to replacement/broken cost of up to $200.
First floor bedrooms
have remote control lighting attached to the wall. Please do not remove them from the wall.
To turn on the gas fireplace,
the switch is on the insert on the right-hand side. Please turn off when sleeping and before leaving.
If you need firewood for outdoor fire pit,
go out of the development and make a right onto 903 up on the left a few miles they sell firewood.
May-September, we have a gas grill
located off the 2nd floor Game Room Deck. Please do not move! Please clean after each use and cover tightly.
10 Badges for the pool and beach
are in the wood box on the wall outside the kitchen. You will also need the parking slips. Badges and parking slips must be present when using the facilities. Please put them back before you check out. We incur hefty fees for lost badges. (Memorial Day to Labor Day)
Pool is on Pool Drive.
It is not walking distance. (Memorial Day to Labor Day)
Closest beach, make a left out of the driveway.
Go to the stop sign make a right. Then make your 1st left and the beach is on the left. It is a nice walk. (Memorial Day to Labor Day)
Please DO NOT shut off the dehumidifier
on the 1st floor, by the front door.
Towels are
in the master bathroom closet.
There are complimentary garbage bags
under the sink. Note we do not recycle. Dishwashing pods are also provided to get you started. You may need more for your stay.
You will find complimentary soap
in the shower and hand soap at all sinks. We do not provide shampoo and conditioner. There are blow dryers in 1st and 2nd floor bathrooms.
When using the Sauna,
please only use a small amount of water. If you see the metal bin filling up with too much water, please empty it.
Closest super market is Jim Thorpe Market.
No smoking in the house.
No chew, no pets, parties or groups under 25.
Noise ordinance is in effect at all times.
Bear Creek is a quiet community that is patrolled, violation is grounds for immediate dismissal with NO refund!
If you have an EV,
please use the outlet outside on the upper deck to charge, not inside the front door.
For lightning fast response,
please message us on the booking platform. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911 and then contact us.

We have a guest limit of 14 persons and only the amount of guests listed on booking are allowed to stay.

Checkout before 11:00am
Please strip beds you used
and put ONLY dirty towels and sheets in washroom area.
If you used the grill,
please clean and cover it tightly. (seasonally)
Please secure all garbage
in bins outside tightly. Bears love garbage.
Empty all contents out
of fridge, freezer, and cabinets.
Please leave all the furniture
exactly as you found it.
Leave all pool/beach badges
and parking slips where you found them.
Please leave chair cushions
in the deck box and umbrella inside.
If the HVAC units are on heat,
leave the temperature at 66.
Please close and lock
all windows and doors.
